maybe this comment will come a bit too late, since the date to your entry was 2006.
i had some hormonal imbalance problems, and never knew it. everyone thought that i was just cranky and hard to live with. but instead of writing to this site like you did, i went on the internet to search for ways to curb my situation. i learned about vitamin B. took up meditation just to identify the moment when that messy feeling comes creeping up again so that i was in time to catch hold of it and got rid of it. your pregnancy may have something to do with your magnified crankiness too, just like what happens when we have our monthly period. do a hormone test, it might help to identify what might be wrong. occasional crankiness may be just a trigger by external factors, but if it keeps happening, there's really something wrong.

Sadly, anger and control are the wrong mechanisms to protect our fears. A lot of us behave in similar ways at certain times - (you are not alone) - sometimes through our own lack of confidence - it is hard to admit and face up to our fears and failings. It seems you have experienced some heartbreaking times, no wonder you are hurt, angry, scared and confused. I truly wish you well with your Counselling.
