It's simple. You never put any special effort into the relationship as he did. You need to think things through, calculate the cost and evaluate all the basic requirements of loving someone. It doesn't really matter whether the person is far or near. The question is, do you forget him once throughout the day? if you do,then you don't love him enough because you have to train yourself and set yourself apart to learn to love.
Consider how people have loved Jesus throughout history without physically being with Him. And yet they loved Him til death; even more than their children or wives. Learn to love. It's not easy. Waiting for others to express their love for you and being on the receiving end is just not good enough. This is not business, it's a give and give only transaction. Stop taking and train yourself to give without expecting anything in return.

well its happening to me too,i feel so bad because she loves me so much.she lives in Uganda but studies in the UK so the distance is really long!!!she only comes for summer.im not sure what i should do, i pray i feel the magic when she comes.so help us God

oh sweetie I know what you going through. I'm going through the same thing myself. See my boyfriend lives in cali I live in minnesota anywho its a long distance relationship for sure. I met him not too long ago after being together for eighteen months. we had an AMAZING time together. The thing is just remember the good memories and try and plan things out more. Since he left i felt everything fade away but love is honestly different when a person is close to you then when hes far. So give it a chance. The thing is if you don't feel nothing when you see him again face to face.. Then to be honest it won't work out in the future and its best if you tell him that. Ok, sweetie? Take care hope you figured everything out.

I also experience that. The fellings that you feel that your love is fading,, but you know I tried to think those memories,the trials that we've through,, so that the love won't go away
